Dr. West has had the opportunity to screen her film, guest lecture, and provide keynote speeches to college and university campuses around the country, and in various parts of the world.

From Howard University to Harvard University, her audiences are racially and culturally diverse. In addition to the college lecture circuit, she speaks at violence organizations, professional conferences, on panels, and at events sponsored by grassroots and community organizations. She typically speaks about gender-based violence, such as intimate partner violence, sexual assault, and sexualized media/pornography.

Dr. West has conducted hundreds of professional trainings, seminars, and workshops in the United States and abroad. She conducts full or half-day trainings for college staff, faculty, and students; sexual assault and domestic violence program staff; health-care and human service professionals; law enforcement personal; and others.
