For over 10 years, Dr. West has been providing Expert Witness Services to attorneys and judges, helping them to understand the dynamics of domestic violence and sexual assault. The results she helps her clients produce are life saving and making a real difference in the legal system.

Her goal is to help the legal system become more culturally aware when working with survivors. She brings the most recent, cutting edge scientific research to their understanding of why and how victims do what they do. She has a deep understanding of the nuances, complexities and psychological dynamics of victim behavior.
